The 03-04 Cobra was fitted with heavier duty components than the standard GT or V6 models and their front control arms are just one of those parts. This product is for two OEM front control arms originally installed on 2003-2004 Mustang Cobras. They are brand new in box direct from Ford and they come with new ball joints already pressed in. Installation is a direct bolt in and no special tools are required. They make a great upgrade for V6 and GT owners. If your Mustang has higher mileage, you'll instantly feel an improvement in ride and steering response after installation.
The ball joints that come with the control arms are 50% stiffer than your GT or V6 units. This will result in more performance oriented handling over your OEM GT or V6 control arms. In addition, they have redesigned stamping that improves the turning radius by about 10% on 1994-1998 Mustangs.
Fitment Note:. These control arms can be installed on 79-93 fox body Mustangs but further modifications are required. After installation, the wheels will be pushed out by 1.5". You will need the steering shaft from a 94-98 Mustang for installation. Please contact us for further information.
